Professional Valuations and Auction Services, is an auction and valuation firm with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra, offering a full range of solutions in the remarketing and valuation of Plant, Equipment and Machinery assets. PVAS was established to provide professional and comprehensive valuation & auction services that add value to our clients business. PVAS believe our business is dependant on having the most professional, experienced and respected people in the industry, resulting in mutual long-term success and benefits, for clients as well as the organisation.
PVAS advise major corporations and government departments on machinery and equipment values for corporate restructuring, liquidation, insurance, due diligence, privatisation, disposal, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance purposes. Our roles also extend to advising on remarketing and disposal strategy of assets to maximise the recovery of value for clients, providing a total turnkey solution, including initial valuation, managing the asset sale process through auctions, tenders, expression of interest and managing the collection of funds and proceeds from sales of assets. PVAS are corporate members of the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia and an Australian Government Endorsed Supplier.
PVAS professional staff has over 35 years combined experience in the auction and valuation industry. Our team of professionals have over the years project managed and coordinated auctions, sales and valuations of surplus equipment for some of Australia most prominent corporations and government departments.

Mark Griffiths
Managing Director PVAS

Mark has more than 18 years experience in the valuation and auction industry in Australia . He has been appointed across a broad range of industry sectors but in particular he has worked in the mining, earthmoving and transport sectors and is well respected as an advisor on valuation and asset sale issues.
Mark is widely recognised for his skills in formal and informal valuations and marketing and project managing asset sales. He has been appointed to manage and conduct a number of major auction and valuation projects in Australia including, Allans Services (Administrator Appointed), Kenmare underground mine, Northwest Constructions (Administrator Appointed), and Ansett Australia (Administrator Appointed) to name a few.
Lawrence Lepp

Lawrie is the new member of the PVAS team having worked for over twenty years in the industry. He has a strong technical and marketing background based on a number of years as an engineer working in the manufacturing, earthmoving and food processing industries. This was subsequently followed by the commencement of his auction/valuation career in the late 1980’s, working with a number of leading auction companies including Fowles Auction Group, Ritchie Bros, Hymans, Slattery’s and more recently DMS Davlan.
Lawrie has a sound working knowledge of the finance, insolvency and auction industries, specialising in construction, mining, transport and manufacturing. During his valuation career, he has carried out and delivered comprehensive valuation reports for major financiers, insolvency practitioners and corporations. This has ranged from a single plant item to major fleets and complete processing and manufacturing lines. In addition to valuations he has project managed the marketing and sale process, of many multi-million dollar auction sales.
Lawrie is a certified practising valuer with the AAVA.
Derek Wilson

Derek has more than 25 years experience in General Management, and has spent the last seven years in the auction industry in Australia . Derek's previous positions include National Operations Manager for 24/7 internet trader AuctionTrader and 4 years as Victorian State Manager for Hymans Asset Management Group (VIC) where he led a successful team of, Project Managers. Auctioneers & Valuers.
Stephen Gill

Stephen has more than 5 years experience in the valuation and auction industry in Australia . Stephen previous positions include, Senior Sales Manager Pickles Auction Group (ACT) and Hymans Asset Management Services.Stephen has been involved in various valuation & remarketing projects, but does have extensive experience within the ICT industries. Having managed a number of remarketing projects for federal government departments, Stephen has a thorough understanding of government process and reporting requirements.
